This is one of those rare finds. Too good to pass up. Bridgeport milling machines with very little run time. Each of these machines are late 1980's to early 1990's
$6,475.00 Per mill includes
tooling. |

The story: This high tech aero space manufacture closed their doors in 1993. All the machinery, parts, tooling, chairs and desks were covered and the building locked up. Today, the owner is ready to liquidate everything. The building is being sold and these machines must go. Because the tooling is scattered I can not provide a specific list of tooling except to say that the first buyer will have the best chance of getting the sizes he asks for. This business owner specifically ordered his machines with 2 H.P. spindle motors to keep the cost of electricity in check. The controls are OEM Bridgeport stepper systems and will need to be upgraded. I have prepared 2 quotations for this. One is the cheapest and the second includes Centroid's professional console. Personally I would keep the OEM electrical enclosures and build your new controller inside. We can install the controls or you can do it yourself. All pieces are offered as is, where is. While I have every reason to believe that all mechanical components are in tip top condition you can expect, at the very least, to replace the rubber way guards. These machines have sat idle for 18 years so you may also need to replace the spindle drive belt & servo drive belts. |

AR 260 automatic Horizontal
saw Here is a power feed saw that he says was used once. I can believe it. There are signs of the original packing grease on the machine and no sign of ware around the push buttons. Powered rollers will feed your stock material to its adjustable stop, then clamp and begin cutting. This is mounted on wheels to provide easy movement in multiple locations around your shop. 220VAC 3 phase power. Call 877 733-5500

Noted
for high accuracy machining with the convenience of a knee mill the SD900
is a big brute of a machine tool. X travel is at least 30" and commonly
33" with the Y axis providing 19 " of travel. 5H.P. vari
drive spindle has plenty of torque for its heavy duty 40 taper spindle.
60-4200 RPM. 6" of quill travel. The LARGE electrical enclosures
provide ample room for a new controller. In fact, I am currently updating
its sibling mill, the SD850, in another location. Watch for that video to
be completed shortly. I can't stand behind this machine's
current mechanical condition except to say that
it has sat idle for the
last 8 years. Prior to that I serviced the machine and its controller. It ran well at that
time and it looks good today. I have noted some light rust spots
on the table. This shop owner is retiring and ready to move
this machine out. No tooling or vices are offered however I believe a side
deal could be made for these items.
